    2005 BAJA 23 OUTLAW SST
    Propulsion:
    Mercruiser 496 HO with Raylar 525 EFI kit making approx. 600 HP when dyno-ed at time of upgrade – pro-built for longevity. Engine upgrades performed at 168 hours, approx. 315 on the meter presently. Sounds great. Starts right up. Easily over 70 mph on the GPS with any load. Seen mid to high 70s with light load. 84 gallon fuel tank to keep you on the water.

    OEM 496 HO engine was upgraded with Complete Raylar 525 kit, Steel crank, h-beam rods, Mahle pistons, aluminum heads, long-runner aluminum intake with extra large mono valve, big Raylar cam, upgraded tool steel wrist pins, stainless total seal rings, upgraded with ARP head studs, machined heads for ARP adjustable rocker studs, Crower 1.8 ratio full roller rocker arms with Crane long-sleeve roller lifters, CV glen push rods, Isky triple valve springs, titanium retainers, inconel valves, completely port and polished aluminum heads, swirled combustion chambers for so that the cc would match perfectly, shaved heads 10 thousandths, line-honed the mains and decked block. Upgraded with Dana exhaust manifolds, larger capacity heat exchanger, Master-lube prelude system.
    Bravo HP Transom Assembly. XR outdrive with IMCO lower and low-water pickup, 30-pitch Bravo 4-blade SS prop – lab finished, drive shower, dual Latham hydraulic steering rams with extensions, IMCO HP 8" stern jack, and a blue-printed hull.
    Other options include color-matched aluminum swim platform with drop-down swim ladder, ski tow eye and color-matched grab handles, SS rubrail insert, docking lights, rear bench seat, drop-down driver and passenger bolster seats, fire extinguisher system, Livorsi gauges and controls with trim on handle, trim tabs with indicators, compass, depth finder, tilt steering helm and custom steering wheel, color-matched cupholders, removable cockpit carpet, dual batteries with switch, on-board battery charger, snap-on cockpit cover, Clarion CD stereo, remember those, with 1500w amp, Memphis Audio subwoofer and driver and transom remotes.
    Includes the original Heritage tandem axle bunk trailer, upright side guides and steel supports under all bunks. Makes for easing loading and unloading.
    Make a bid.. Definitely worth more than most similar boats out there, but I've set reserve lower than comparables I've seen advertised. Asking ,000 in the classifieds but will consider best offer...
    Some items:
    Stable spider gelcoat cracks in the front corners of cockpit. Not worth polishing. Passengers never notice and it's a max flex area, so it would be a labor of love. The lower drive unit could use a paint job but nothing required or urgent as long as the boat is stored dry.. Paint on drive looks good but  there is some peeling and wear unavoidable operating in Florida waters. Wind deflector has wear consistent with age. Some clouding. Trailer looks good and trailers fine but is showing age at the rear cross bar and back section of frame. Rust is starting to win in that area. Always sprayed down and stored under cover but it snuck up on me. I'm comfortable towing local but I wouldn't use it for long distance towing. Just no way to know how much is left in the cross bar. On the other hand, tires, bearings and the rest are in good shape.
    It's a unique boat. Never see such high end options on a boat this size. Runs straight hands-free(not advised) because of the Latham hydraulics. Definitely confidence inspiring for a boat this size and power. Come take a look. It definitely brings a smile to everyone's face. We'll go run it in Cloud Lake by the West Palm Peach airport. It's a lot of fun for sure but I've moved into a downtown area and just not using it frequently enough..
