This item is a Lot of 3 antique Ridgways decorative Plates with scenes of Edinburgh, Scotland. Each plate has the Bow & Quiver mark (Ridgways England) and "10 13"on the back. There are two small holes for a ribbon or string on the back of each plate to make it easy to hang on the wall.
The plates are Sepia/Brown with gold on the rim. Each Plate measures about 9 inches across. There is some crazing on the front and back (to be expected in plates this old). Otherwise the plates are in Very Good condition!
From my research, I believe these plates date from somewhere between 1879 and 1920.

"A little history: Ridgway pottery has been made in the Staffordshire district in England since 1838. From 1879 they traded as Ridgways, until 1920 when the pottery was renamed Ridgways (Bedford Works). It remained under the Ridgway family control until 1929 when the firm was taken over by Cauldon Potteries. The Ridgway name was retained and they obtained Limited Company status in 1955. In 1964 they became part of the Royal Doulton Group."
