19th Century Pen and Ink Drawing of Young Woman
Very nice, well done antique ink and drawing portrait of young woman
With a big hat that has a brooch on the top and an old fashioned hairdo.
She has a lovely expression on her face.
The pen and ink drawing is done on paper that shows lined paper from the back.
The paper looks frail.  The owner said that it has never been out of the old frame.
The is a small blotch of black ink to the right of her neck and there appears to be a tear in the paper on the bottom right corner (see pic 11).
The picture is backed with old wood.  The frame and glass are in good vintage condition.
The framed pen and ink measures 14.5" tall, 11.5" wide and 1.5" deep around the outside edge.
