Condition: This 60+ year old Ford Motor Company presentation award is in a wonderful vintage condition, it still looks impressive. The wooden box was well built and is fully intact, no loose wood and no significant marks. The surface looks great, you can see the wood grains. The thick acrylic (we think acrylic) lid still fits perfectly. The top of the lid is still nice and clear. The underside of the lid has some surface mars, circles on the surface, you can barely see them in the last photo. This issue does not distract from the quality of this piece. The brass and enameled medallion looks wonderful embedded in the thick acrylic. There are no bad odors. We think you will be really happy with the condition. For your consideration is an impressive award given to a Ford car salesman in 1960 for selling between 300 and 600 cars. This is a cigarette box. The wooden base looks like oak on the sides and another type of wood in the bottom. We think the lid is made of acrylic but some call it Lexann. The lid is a full 1/4" thick. The box measures 4" by 4" and the piece is 2-1/8" tall with the lid on. Please let us know if we can provide any other information.
