Alexander Keszthelyi
Portrait painter, etcher. Born on March 23, 1874 in Sambor, Poland. Keszthelyi was a pupil of Herterich in Munich and Läffler at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna.
He lived in Pittsburgh, PA and taught at the Carnegie Institute (1907-10) followed by three years in Canada before moving to Los Angeles. He died on May 25, 1953 in San Bernardino, CA.
