RIDGWAYS ENGLAND "GAINSBOROUGH" OVAL COVERED SERVING BOWL
We are offering a royal semi porcelain oval covered serving bowl in the "Gainsborough" pattern by Ridgways.
The made in England bowl measures approximately 10 3/4" in length including the handles by 7 1/4" in width by 4 3/4" tall with the lid on.
It weighs approximately 1.6 lbs.
The covered serving bowl
is in the Gainsborough style with a flow blue floral pattern with blue scrolls & gold accenting against a white background.
The serving bowl is in fair condition for its age - no crazing noted! There are stained cracks on the bowl & a deep chip on the interior though which light can be faintly seen.
There is a wear to the gold accenting & gold trim. There is more staining on the bowl as well. The bowl should probably only be used as a display piece.
There is one small chip on the inside rim of the lid, otherwise the lid is in good condition!
The price mainly reflects the good state of the lid.
