Offering an antique oval vegetable bowl by Ridgways in the Oriental Blue pattern, circa 1899.  Pattern has a blue transfer oriental scene with gold trim.  The backstamp shown was used by Ridgways from 1891-1920 however, this particular bowl shows the impressed stamp

for June 1899 production.
Measures 9 ½” long x 7 ½” wide x 1 7/8” high
In very good antique condition: there is a small chip as well as
almost complete gold loss on the rim as shown.
There is some staining and minor scratching commensurate
to age and use.
A wonderful bowl for any transferware collection!
